once bitten

as an adult returning to education i can see why the younger generations are struggling with our education system
after completing this project from hell and hnd course at stow college i feel that the last two years were a complete wast of my time the lecturers are so out of touch with the real world and don't have the first idea how to teach the subjects that they are tasked to teach one lecturer spent all his time talking to himself with the odd random song thrown in and he obviously had mental and confidence problems and another was so full of his Linux and cisco neither was fullyqualified to teach there given subjects just thrown in at the deep end.
The results of the project are in now i got a "c" for 8 weeks of toil where people who blagged my work got "A"s and "B"s the lecturer tasked with marking this project lacked consistency and took coments i made in this blog personaly none of the comments were directed at him but at the system he had to work with i think that this was reflected in the mark i was given for this reduculous project glad to be out of it now hope future students dont feel so ripped off we all certainly do

nearly done

got almost everything except the index page done this has been the most work i have had to do for college to date and the most frustrating as well
think if i were the person responsible for setting these things up i would set out the tasks and dump the scenario'sits not like a project you would have to do in the real world taking everything into account from the ground up and then the top down would be the responsibility of a team not an individual

Project management
Meetings with the project management team will ascertain firstly the type of network best suited to our needs if the company is to expand the network it uses must be capable of expansion too.
any upgrade of an existing system will need to be managed to cause the minimum loss of productivity to the company it is important that everyone concerned in the upgrade has a clear idea of what will be the correct sequence of events and what their roll will be.
got handed the project today will have a look through it ad start assessing requirements to complete this task
